US Market Outlook Jan 29 2018

Asian markets were lower with some profit taking in large cap chinese stocks after great run higher and as New Year approaches. Europe was also lower as Spanish bank Bankia cited one off restructuring costs as it released a loss for the quarter. Stock was down 4%. 

US Dollar index is quoted at 89.21 up 31 with EUR at 1.2357 down 72 and GBP at 1.4092 down 68.

Gold is quoted at 1344.00 down 5.60 and Oil is at 65.48 down 66 as commodities consolidate.

Big week in data in US with US Fed on Wed and Jobs number on Friday. Trump State of Union speech on Thursday.

Earnings out for big tech this week with positive expectations.

Bond yields broke above 2.70% in early trading.
